About Us

SpinSheet is an Annapolis-based magazine founded in the summer of 1995 by two active Chesapeake Bay sailors, Mary Ewenson and Dave Gendell.

SpinSheet's coverage goes "deep" rather than "wide", and we use this platform to celebrate the people, places, boats, personalities, and events that make the Chesapeake one of the world's premier sailing grounds.

Our reputation has been built over more than 15 years of delivering high quality editorial and high impact advertising to the mid-Atlantic sailing community. SpinSheet’s strengths are putting your advertising only in front of targeted potential customers and packaging your message with pertinent articles. We are always improving our magazine’s design, editorial, and distribution but we have always remained connected with the Chesapeake Bay sailing community.
