Club Crabtowne members took the Lewes-to-Cape May ferry early this season for a Beach and Bike trip. Club members recall that for two days the wind was very strong, gusting to 30 mph along the shore. Ocean temperature was only about 60 degrees! Some members brought their photography equipment. The group dined at the Cove Restaurant at the northern tip of Cape May, from which they could see the lighthouse, and where they captured a group picture with lots of smiling faces enjoyng the three-day get-away.
Club Crabtowne's year-round events span a wide range of interests. They have a long history of doing pretty much anything members think will be fun. Past events have included dancing, sailing, watersports, skiing, golf, tennis, volleyball, touring as a group in various parts of the world, white water rafting, canoeing, hang gliding, flying sailplanes, hot air ballooning, and attending barnstorming air shows. If you think there is something fun that the club could do, talk to a Board member or a committee chairperson to get the ball rolling. Find more information here.
