Round Bay Sailing Association Annual Meeting

Members of the Round Bay Sailing Association recently gathered  at the home of member Don Snelgrove for their annual meeting. More than a dozen boat skippers attended. The group enjoyed refreshments and social time before the discussing racing rules, the schedule of races, and RC duties. Don Snelgrove gave an informative presentation on RaceQs, which club members use to record race data. Several skippers report that it has helped both skipper and crew to up their game.

Round Bay Sailing Association races are underway most Wednesday nights on Round Bay, in the Severn River. New members are welcome, and sailors in the area are encouraged to join. Expereicned racers are willing to teach new skippers the ropes. No PHRF rating is need. The Association RC will assign you the base rating for your type of boat unless you provide a PHRF certificate stating otherwise. Visit the RBSA website for more information.
