Giving Back This Season

a_gift_boxThe Harbor Queen is finishing the year-long celebration of her 40th birthday year by hosting “The Queen of All Food Drives,” a holiday food drive for the Anne Arundel County Food Bank during the Eastport YC Lights Parade on Saturday, December 8.
The public is invited to drop off donations of non-perishable food items, pet food, or monetary donations throughout the evening from 5:30-8:30 p.m. and step aboard the Harbor Queen to watch the parade. Watermark will sell beverages, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Anne Arundel County Food Bank. Pets are welcome onboard. The Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Conference & Visitor’s Bureau will sponsor the event.
The public is encouraged to dress warmly and bring their holiday spirit to Annapolis City Dock to help those in need and enjoy a festive Annapolis tradition.
Anyone who wants to take a 45-minute Spa Creek Cruise aboard Miss Anne adorned with reindeer spirit including Hot Cocoa and Holiday Music may also help the community, as 10% of the proceeds for such cruises benefit Historic Annapolis. Cruises are held on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, (at 6, 7, or 8 p.m.) from now through December 30 (excluding December 8). Book here.
