The first day of summer is on June 21, and so this year's Summer Sailstice will be on Saturday, June 20. So get out there and celebrate! Annapolis Community Boating Open House

ACBOn Saturday, June 20, 2015 Annapolis Community Boating is holding an open house at the Ellen Moyer Nature Park at Back Creek, 7314 Edgewood Road, Annapolis 21403. Come out and meet our crew, learn about our summer programs, try your hand at our water activities and become a member of ACB! We will have games and activities for the whole family; all equipment and lifejackets are provided. On shore activities like boat building, face painting, and tours of the park. Sail Solomons Sail-Aweigh

ssOur Sail-Aweigh kicks off Jun 20th at 9 am at Sail Solomons (Zahniser’s Yachting Center) with a Captain’s meeting. Participating boats sail up the Patuxent River to our designated raft-up and lunch anchorage. We’ll have an informal race back to Solomons, followed by games, Sailstice pub-quiz, awards, cocktails and a BBQ!
Sail-Aweigh is free to Sail Solomons club members, $100 per person to sail on Sail Solomons boats. For On-Your-Own-Boat sailors, we ask for a $10 per person donation to help fund the BBQ and prizes. Cock Island Race, Sponsored by Portsmouth Boat Club
