Racing Roundup June 29-30

Happy July, sailors! It was a scorcher out there this weekend, yet another reminder that Mother Nature is in charge of all we do as sailors. Hope you stayed hydrated and happy and sailed fast. Here’s your sailboat racing roundup for June 29-30 on the Chesapeake and beyond.

Storm Trysail’s Block Island Race Week

Jimmy Buffett showed up. We’d say that’s all you need to know about STC’s Block Island Race week, but really there was more to report on than that significant detail. Not only did the folks at BIRW put on a lay day to remember, complete with the North Sails 5K, New England Ropes Tug of War, and Margaritaville Trivia, but your fellow Chesapeake sailors crushed it on the water as well on the four racing days, and you know this is about sailboat racing more than fun and games. Below you will find the top three results. Find more BIRW news here
