As a friend's four-year-old son likes to say, "Ducks don't mind the rain."
Neither do geese, as we spied two fuzzy goslings headed down to the Chesapeake Boating Club after lunch with their parents.
Upon closer inspection, we decided there were perhaps five baby geese.. Then we realized there were FOURTEEN of them!
What seemed to be a gloomy day was suddenly full of life. Thanks, neighbor geese, for tolerating our intrusion into your family stroll.
