What has become a rite of summer is right around the corner... tomorrow! After such a chilly spring, wow--that happened fast...
In a little more than 24 hours, hundreds of Chesapeake sailors, boaters, fishermen, outdoorsmen, environmentalists.. and pretty much anyone else who likes to party and dance along the water will gear up for the summer's best beach bash, Bands in the Sand, from 5 to 10:30 on the pretty private beach in front of the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.
The "party with a purpose" benefits CBF's many programs. Besides sponsoring the event as we have since its inception, we at SpinSheet have been thinking about our friends at CBF and enjoying their recent contributions to our "Where We Sail" column.
