Matt Rutherford, 167 Days on the Water

From one of the world's true explorers:

" I started off on January 2nd by taking a Pacific Seacraft 44 through the Panama Canal and up to San Diego. After that delivery I spent a couple months refitting a sailboat in Jabins boatyard before taking it to the Arctic on a research expedition. The 2015 Greenland Climate Project lasted roughly 100 days, sailing within 700 miles of the North Pole before being turned back by heavy pack ice. I made it back from Greenland just in time for the Annapolis boat show. After the show the fall delivery season began so I started taking boats from Annapolis to the Caribbean one after another. I'm now done for the year, I wont sail again until February."
