2 Days of volunteering as an umpire for college team racing.
Round the Lights Race with Vortex Racing. Ended up having to retire over halfway into the race once the gusts were hitting 30-35+ knots, but we had a blast while we were out there!
Frostbite Series on Riff Raff with Vortex Racing out of HYC to finish off the racing season!!!
505 ECCs with Whitney Hayes. Super duper big breeze, but we had fun anyway and enjoyed getting out there. It was a three day event, but because of work and my school schedule we decided to just sail on Saturday and Sunday.
Gathered together an alumni team and headed out to race against the high schoolers in one of their team race events this fall. We all had an absolute blast and it was great getting back into an FJ and having some fun team racing!

HYC Founder's race with Vortex Racing. Walked away with the bullet after a day of chapagne conditions!
Cape Charles Cup (2 day event) with Vortex Racing. Spent Sunday running the bow for the first time, and in the big breeze nevertheless!
Wednesday Night Racing at Hampton Yacht Club is back up and running!!! This week was the first of many on the water for Vortex Racing.
This TR league event was at GTN on March 7th and 8th. Little did I know this would be my final regatta of my college career and it involved a whole lot of waiting around on shore for the wind to calm down and the water to fill into the bowl enough for us to sail. While our team struggled with sickness and injury, we were able to end the event with a W against SUNY for the last race of most of our college careers before heading back home.
First (and one of only two) regattas of the college season was the GTN Team Race from February 29th to March 1st!
Rang in the New Year at Team Race Midwinters at Eckard College with Team Happy Campers! Event was December 31, 2019-January 2, 2020!!!
