Damage to bow from hitting the dock; repaired by Wayne's Finish Touch. Required working from dinghy so 2.5 hours ferrying Wayne and supplies from dock to bow of boat. Looks good. Need more docking practice.

First trip to fuel dock to fill up and pump out. Wind only 6kts, minimal gust but still making 3 to 4 kts both up and downwind; did not use genoa. Some interesting traffic coming back through the Wednesday night races; at one point we had to do a 180 to avoid disrupting the race.
Took the sailboat for a motor ride to practice close quarter maneuvering, backing up to buoy, practice an overboard stop and then successful docking at Severn House. Our slip is right in front of pool deck with lots of chairs for watchers. 45 minute row in the afternoon around an creek in dinghy; Viisited Annapolis Maratime Museum site on Bembe Beach Road
We got a rainbow with Tina.Wind was iffy, but a distance race from Red Buoy 2 marking back Crete channel, then out to green can one, then down to R2 off Tiolly point. We crossed the start line late, next to last. Passed one boat but on the run to R2 the wind died, and the mark was moved closer. Even with that, it was getting dark so we got a tow home. Tina brought us to perfect landing. Sea state calml, sunset beautiful, but not the fastest race.
Son, Dauighter in law, daughter and three grandkids came to inspect the new sailboat, and also to try out the dinghy.
