Pride of Baltimore II Leaving on 8000 Mile Voyage

Tall ship alert! On June 7, Pride of Baltimore II began a four-month journey that will take the ship out of the Chesapeake Bay for the first time since 2013. (Video Below)

Pride II will be traveling along the East Coast to the Great Lakes, visiting several ports in the U.S and Canada. The ship's mission is to promote Maryland's economic development and tourism, but she will also be making appearances at tall ship festivals in the Great Lakes, as well as participating in the Tall Ships Challenge, where she will race through all five Great Lakes.

Pride II's first stop on the trip will be Norfolk, VA. At each port, the ship will be offering free deck tours, and in some will offer day sails. The ship is due to return to Baltimore in October.
