The Lewes Yacht Club in Lewes DE has monthly series for the Beer Can Fleet sailing on Wednesday afternoons and Sundays from May through November with an extension this year into December. The Frostbite race was held on December 6, 2020 with a load of wind 20 - 30 in 40 degree temperatures.
We usually volunteer to help winterize boats at LYC each year.

The Cape to Cape Regatta, 12 years running is an ongoing distance race between Cape May NJ and Cape Henlopen, DE between MAYRA boats in NJ and LYC Boats in Lewes, DE. The race is a mulitple day regatta with 2 buoy races on Friday and the distance race on Saturday, usually held the 1st weekend of August..
The Avalon Cup is another disatance race from Avalon NJ to Cape May NJ , held since 1969.
The Lewes Cup had it's inaugural Race this year, a 12 - 15 mile offshore race near Cape Henlopne and it the ocean.
