A non-profit organization located in the Annapolis area, the Annapolis Sail & Power Squadron (ASPS) is dedicated to serving the needs of the local Chesapeake Bay boating community through providing educational services, community services, and a space for recreational boating enthusiasts to connect at member meetings. Members are taught state saftey requirements for boat operators, and offered saftey checks by a qualified ASPS examiner. The ASPS offers a variety boating education courses ranging from crusing afar to electrical and mechanical systems that go beyond the fundamentals of boating.
