Great sailing day. First took a J22 out for an almost bridge run, stopped back at home for water and snacks, and got back out on Akimbo for an awesome couple of hours sailing, then docked in canton for the first Thursday concert.

Lots of docking. Also shoving off and getting back to the tiller. Pretty ok with downwind close quarters behind the rotting pylons at this point.
Went out with Barb & James. All went well until re-launching for another docking practice. J's foot went through the end of the dock and he barely got it out and scrambled onboard. V tricky maneuvering back to dock. Feeling extremely anxious about what would have happened to his leg if there were more wind.
Several good downwind, also some parallel parked at deep back of B dock. That was new but now feel pretty good about it. Short time out but effective practice time.
Got in a couple good downwind ones in tight quarters. Phew.
Spent a good couple of hours working on docking and then got a surprisingly great sail out past Dundalk and back. Then went out on Akimbo, fixed the bottom of the Genoa (bolt rope out of track) and had an awesome sail way out past the bridge. Came back downwind, did some wing on wing, and finished up around 10. The moon was very big and red when it came up.
Mostly showing off sails with corporate logo trying to get another set donated, but also did a couple POB's and some docking practice.
Did everything fine except docking, which at least wasn't horrible but was kind of embarrassing. Much lower wind right around the docks than I've practiced with, and was consistently under aiming for the slip and had less momentum so sliwly drifted (cross wind) a little too far. Bleh. Will practice more abs try again. So frustrated with myself because I knew what I was doing wrong and kept not fixing it.
