A quick day sail on Herring Bay to take advantage of the nice (but breezy) weather. 10-12 gusting 16-18+ WNW. A little challenging getting back in the slip!

Just an enjoyable several hour day sail on Herring Bay followed by topping up diesel at Herrington Harbor South before heading back home.
Land tour followed by 8-day/7-night cruise of Glacier Bay and Southeast Alaska. Dates indicated for cruise only.
Sailed up to Galesville and took a mooring at Hartge's for frontal passage. Next day sailed to the Rhode and dinghied in to the Smithsonian property for some trail walking. Sailed home on Monday.
Quick three-day getaway from Shipwright to Caulk Cove (off Leadenham Creek) to San Domingo Creek and home again aboard our BCC.
Quick weekend sail over to Leadenham Creek off of Broad Creek in the Choptank. Beautiful weather sailing both days and we even went through Knapps Narrows on Sunday morning with plenty of water beneath the keel (we also went through an hour before high tide and knowing the water was high).
My second voyage with SEA (sea.edu) aboard the SSV Robert C. Seamans (350 tons), this time as 3rd Mate. Although my second voyage, I hadn't left since I reported aboard in May.
We left Papeete, Tahiti on 13 June (yes a Friday...yes the 13th!) and moored in Honolulu, Hawaii on 17 July, a total of 35 days to cover just over 3,500 NM with a total of 32 students and crew aboard.
First time with Sea Education Association (SEA) https://sea.edu/ aboard the 350 ton Sailing School Vessel (SSV) Robert C. Seamans for a 5-day program with 'colleagues' around Tahiti and Moorea.
