It was liiiight out there!
Century Club: Ashley Love
Coaching Lauren Carlo. We worked on speed control today with red light/green light/orange light and then translated that into coming up to a full stop next to a speed marker. It's harder than it sounds, but all important stuff to ya know, be on a starting line, come up to a powerboat that wants to throw you a beer or... dock!
What a gorgeous, cloudy, chill, windy day for a race. Super short race course with 70+ boats kept the fleet tight together and action-packed. So great to be on the boat again with the all-female team. Experience levels all over the place, all growing and learning together.
Bryan, Gareth, Airbnb guest Christina, Lauren Carlo and I left the dock at 5:20, sailed then motored through a storm and had a lovely night cruise down to Annapolis.
Only two left and a practice day! Sailed well, but a bit too high/fast on average.
We sailed all the way to the Naval Academy bridge and back.
Held out of SSA with Nikki
Last minute blast with Rob Mills and Nikki aboard Paul Murphy's VXOne. He's generous with his boat! Probably because Rob is buying one soon.
Racing was cancelled, but we went out anyways.
