Ice getting out of the slip and even in the main fairway but worth is to get out. Our round G1 and back. Bluest of skies.
The bubbler is doing its thing and we were able to get out of the slip. Up to 27 apparent but we also got the boat up to 7.1 with jib alone. Cold but glorious.
Ice around the boat on my slip so moved it down the dock. Very crunchy. But we did it.
After our fog day yesterday we needed a good sail. And we got one.
Went to Annapolis for NYE and to race the hangover bowl. That was cancelled. But then we had to make it home.
Up to Annapolis for NYE and the hangover bowl!
Got my main recut and had to test it - see if it was any good. Great sail into Herring Bay then anchored up in Fairhavwn before coming in after dark.
When your boat needs a pumpout. And your main is in for repair ... you sail down by Genoa alone! Gorgeous day out. Fueled up. Pumped out. Got out on the water.
