Tough start; sailed well after
Century Club: Michele Ward
Cold, rainy, windy - we got all the weather! One lousy finish, with the spinnaker fouled on the takedown; other two were middle of the pack.
Cold, with light winds, so only one race - good start and reasonable finish.
Distance race - great start, ok first leg, awful second leg, great third leg, awful fourth leg - with dying winds. Long last hour.....
On a brighter note - the rig tuning made a big difference in our upwind speed!
After a delay, we got three races in - did the best in #2 - got 4th. Yesterday's rig tune definitely helped, especially upwind.
Tuning the rigging ahead of AYC fall series - we'll see how it works
Finally got the f((&*^$%$g thing working! This should have counted for 5 days.... just sayin'
Treated some friends to a long awaited sail - they loved it!
Sail with Allan from North Sails to check out the new sail - rig issue, not the sail
Light winds, and a bit flukey but a lovely day on the Severn - good practice for upcoming races.
