I was waiting until I got 100 days on the water to register these but I did 2 volunteer work days at the DSC in the spring. 3 days for Allegiant prep/maintenance/cleaning around the Down the Bay Race and Annapolis to Newport.

Sailed in the 2021 Annapolis to Newport race on Allegiant. #allygiant Watch buddy with Adam, boat owner Burt, crew boss Stu, and other crew were James, Noah, Maryline, Cheri. The race was essentially all upwind in the bay and then downwind out of the bay. Saw lots of dolphins, a sea turtle (that was alive!), many species of bird, and 51 mylar balloons. 431 nm of fun!

Sailed on J42 Alligiant with 7 other badasses. Began on Friday at 7:15 am because Stu, Adam, and I were late. Woops! Start was at 10 am and we sailed south all day until we finished Saturday morning at 7:10ish am at Old Point Comfort. Learned a lot, didn't fall off the boat. Success!
Slept on the boat Saturday into Sunday so I'm counting that as a day too.

Sailed with Jessica and Sam for a 5-2-6. Not terrible but could have been better. Dying breeze, very inconsistent speed and direction.

Fraternized with the enemy for a Friday night race with Chessie. Jess got to practice steering, and Emily was the crew boss. Mark ran main and John was tactician. Ran in non-spin 1.
