Freshly renewed fishing license and we were off in the jonboat to try to catch some fish. Spoiler alert, we did not catch any.

the day before recreational boating on the bay was banned, we managed to sneak out for a night sail with the gang to the Key Bridge and back.
We took the jonboat out and hid behind the bridge in wait for our sailing friends to return home. We came out from behind the bridge as they passed by in a fun pirate attack as we circled their boat and demanded they hand over the beer.

Delivered Bayfield Cutter 29 from Bowleys Quarters to St. Michaels for the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. It was so foggy all day we could not see anything but the base of the Bay Bridge as we sailed through it.
Travelling from New Zealand down to McMurdo Research Base Antarctica, I was part of a Photographic research and conservation team aboard a Russion Research vessel. We stopped at various penguin colonies and research stations allong the way.
We took the ferry to the southernmost island off New Zealand and then boarded a boat to go in search for Kiwi and Yellow Eyed Penguin. We saw many albatross and some Weka, but no Kiwi or Yellow Eyed Penguins
We took to the Inner harbor for New Years Eve in my Newport 27, Knot-a-Clew to watch the fireworks. Started off the new year right sailing home and sailing through 4 bridges and onto the dock with a fouled prop.
