What a hoot...
Overcast/grey day. I was waiting or the roads to dry so I could go for a bike ride, and went kayaking in the meantime. I am feeling a bit of tendonitis in both elbows, so used the Greenland paddle and slowed down a bit.
Quite breezy! TPLM2 (Thomas Point Light) reports 23 knots gust to 25 while I was kayaking. There was quite a chop coming into the mouth of Lake Ogleton, so I stayed inside and close to the shore at times to stay a little sheltered from the wind.

TPLM2 says 14 knots. I stuck my nose out in the Bay for a while, and then surfed some waves on the way back into Lake Ogleton.
Pushed hard on the way there (into the the light wind) and slightly easier on the way back, but not real easy.
A little breezy out of the south or slightly west of south. Fast inside, a bit slower going SE in the Bay, QUITE slow in the wind and waves near the point. Turned around.
You can see the speed drop as I kayak past Tolly Point, slow down, turn around, and then there are a couple of speed peaks as I surf a wave.
