The lay period at Sparrows Point abruptly ended with a no-notice same-day sailing to get the ship to Galveston quickly to go on charter for a run to South America. I was supposed to get relieved that weekend, but instead my relief caught up with us in Galveston before the ship went foreign.

Might as well get the 10 work days out of the way right off. While working the M/V Resolve as Chief Mate, we spent from 12/31/20 to 2/5/21 at the layberth at Trade Point, Sparrows Point, Baltimore...as I said then...plugging holes and fixing shit...while the company looked for the next charter.
