The wind was blowing at around 5 mph and the temperature was in the 50’s making for a real nice sail around Mattox Creek. As usual I was entertained by the Osprey.

The weather forecast for today was marginal at best as they were calling for thunderstorms and strong winds. As I was finishing up lunch it looked like a rather pleasant afternoon with thunderstorms not forecasted to hit until 5:00 PM so I went out for a nice, early afternoon sail. I did have some issues with my jib not unfurling all the way. I believe it was because the line that hosts the jib sock was wrapped around the head of the jib, or at least that’s what I hope was the issue. Returned safely then noticed that the cotter circle holding the pin in the furler was missing. Someone up above is watching over me.
