Old and New Cutlass Bearing for 1" prop shaft
New Cutlass bearing installation
On the Hard at Casa Rio Marina removing original Cutlass Bearing circa 1985 replacing with new Cutlass bearing for 1" prop shaft - not an easy task - thin walled brass tube not compatible with available cutlass bearing removal tools, had to utilize hacksaw hand tool and drift to remove old cutlass bearing. Chill the new cutlass bearing in icewater prior to installation with wheel puller
