Gentle breeze threw up a light roller as the tide ebbed this morning. Got close to one female cormorant but not much fauna.

Funny current today. I had trouble aiming on the first leg and made a squiggly track. Saw an osprey on the nest and a couple of seagulls. Not any marine life. Very high tide.

Gentle swells from the Bay Bridge combined with the wind blowing down the Severn to create a little chop. Just enough to make it interesting. Almost completely cloudless, a welcome change. Saw a couple of cormorants flying and a great blue heron. While I was rowing north a cruise ship snuck in behind me. Amazing it was quieter than the Tuesday trash trucks in Eastport.

Breeze lighter than expected and nice smooth rollers from Kent Island. Saw a cormorant and a couple of osprey, no jellyfish. The Navy has replaced their yellow markers off David Taylor?

It was more blustery than the online data suggested so I went up the creek. It was near low tide but didn't look like it because of the wind blowing right up the Severn. Once out of sight of Bembe Beach it was quite pleasant. Saw one fish jump back in the shallows, and a few cormorants and mallards.

Rowed over the Severn in a short chop from the northwest that pushed the boat much more than the full flood, but not enough to be unpleasant. Still quite a few cormorants and an osprey flew right over me since I'm just a big sea bird with spruce wings flapping. It's cool today but the water is about sixty Fahrenheit so I'm writing this standing in the water just off the beach.

High tide and a little wind from the NW so I had an easy ride back to the creek. Just a wee bit lumpy with competing rollers from the wind and tide, enough to make it interesting.

A bit sporty today with a flood tide and the wind behind me as I crossed the Severn from Back Creek. There was a group of a dozen or more cormorants floating at the mouth of the creek. Had to cut the corner of my route to dodge a YP again.

Very calm and summery out there. Passed the LADY SARAH as she picked up passengers to see the naval vessel that's out in the Bay. Some jellyfish not many, and a few ospreys and cormorants, mallards and Canada geese.

Lovely flat seas and no YPs. The ospreys and cormorants were out in force and I saw one jellyfish, one sailboat, and one fishing vessel. Also clear water, estimated secchi depth 2.5'.
