Slightly windy and overcast/cool day of ILCA sailing at FBYC for the first ILCA regatta of the year. 4 boats and 5 races. Won 3 of them to take 1st overall.
Century Club: Jon Deutsch
Served as the race committee for the first one design event of the year at FBYC. Ended up with a beautiful day for the Flying Scots and Melges 15.
As was the case in 2022, the club was short a PRO for the first spring series of the year and so I stepped in last minute to be the PRO. We had a small but mighty team and gave the racers the best we could given the weather, volunteers and equipment we had available.
2 days of cool and windy ILCA sailing.

Easy drive to St. Petersburg for 4 days of sailing at ILCA Midwinters East. Would only manage 2 races on the first 3 days owing to lack of wind.
We were short on RC help, so I had to jump in and PRO rather than sail. Had a great turnout and a nice day for it.
Super light air day of racing on a staggered start course in the mouth of the Piankatank. Managed to finish before the time limit. Enjoyed plenty of oysters after racing.
Sailed the 2nd day of the FBYC Fall Open aboard J99 Battle Rhythm. It was a distance race out to the entrance of the Piankatank, south to buoy off Gwynn's Island and back.
