Sailed over to Hampton for an overnight stay with Mandee and Rudder. Ended the day with a Sock Burning Party with Broad Bay Sailing Association
Got in the water to clean the winter's nastiness from No Pressure. Wasn't too bad since last dive on her on 1/03/2023.
Picked 507 from the garage after PM. Took it for a spin, realizing 187 is a much better boat.
Got a new crew member for a short while. Watch the coast Guard mark a new shoal in Long Creek.
The things you see on patrol. No injuries other than pride. Seatow was able to remove at high tide with no damage.
Annual search and rescue forum put on by the Port of Virginia. Law enforcement, fire and rescue maritime assets get to together for a week of on the water training and networking. Hampton Roads stands apart from any other region in the country due to this cooperation. Let's not forget the USCG comes to play along with the Virginia and Maryland Pilots. And a special shout out to Tow Boat U.S. for their support and training. This year i even sported a Yellowstone hat.
