We returned from the Bahamas in April 2025, and after some out-of-water maintenance and upgrades, Southern Cross continued voyaging in the Chesapeake. We have hit the usual spots -- St. Michaels, Rock Hall, Dun Cove, Rhode River, Aberdeen Creek, Chase Creek. On to Fall sailing, the best time to be on the Bay!

Southern Cross departed Gibson Island in mid-November and after stops and layovers south, arrived in The Bahamas in early January. We voyaged in her from northern Abaco to southern Exuma and points in between, enjoying many exotic cays and ports of call. We returned to the Chesapeake Bay in late April, and have been gunkholing on the Bay since. As I write on July 17th, we have accumulated 140 days aboard SC and it looks like a busy summer and fall season during which we'll add days aboard.
