Had a great start. Made it through the squall. Some improvements have already been made to the boat to improve performance since. Talked about some other things and made plans to make improvements. Glad it didn't rain. Amazing star views at night, but the picture is the best I could get ☹️

Prepped the boat for gov cup fri-sun
Day 1: got 2nd place after a redress hahah
Day 2: solid winds all day.
Day 3: had a nice raft up and swim during the initial delay, then got one race in.
Wednesday night on a different boat since normal boat is on the hard. Went well... storm clouds at the end though!
Light wind day so figured I'd try some SUP yoga... lost my balance (part of the learning curve) and fell right on a jelly fish! But got right back up and went back to it. Want to keep practicing
Figured... why not. If nothing else, it was a way to kill time the morning before my flight. I really wanted to go slow, see how clear the water was, and see how the waves of Lake Michigan felt on a paddle board. Went out of Evanston near the conference. Was nice to see the Chicago skyline in the distance. Also walked around the area and saw some carp
Heard a lot of good things about it, including from countless locals, so figured I'd go ahead and do it. It was cool. I liked walking the riverwalk as well. But doing a boat tour of it was nice.
Did a short sail with someone I met from the dock party. Nice calm morning sail. Got some helm time. Also got to connect a mooring ball for the first time
First time on all women crew. Met the owner through railmeets and went out with them. Good times. Went around the cribs. Got 3rd place in the regatta.
