Went for an evening kayak on the Little Magothy. Winds were nonexistent. Water was like glass, the biggest ripples were the wakes of our kayaks! So peaceful! Went out the inlet into the Bay and it was flat out there too! A great Sunday evening kayak!

Training sail for Sail Beyond Cancer on their Beneteau 40 Anneleise. Winds were light, about a max of 5 knots so the boat wasn't moving too fast, but we were sailing and learning about the program!

We went out on the Wilma Lee, a skipjack operated by the Annapolis Maritime Museum. We watched the Annapolis Yacht Club Wednesday night race -observing the chaos from the Wilma Lee with a beer and a snack. A lot of the Keelboat Club members were out-it was sponsored by the Annapolis Sailing School, but the Wilma Lee goes out every Wednesday.

First Keelboat Club Monday Night Race that i participated in. Winds 15-25. All boats had reefed mains. Did 4 windward/leeward races. Our boat brought up the rear in most of them, including the one I skippered. Had a great start but lost it all at the first tack. Should have kept going longer on that tack.

Bound and determined to kayak, we put in at Mill Creek Marina at Greenbury Pt in between showers. We went right out of the cove and into Whitehall Bay, then across to Whitehall Manor. The bay was flat, even through the exposed bay. Saw 3 rainbows and paddled through several showers, but it was a fun and worthwhile trip!

Put in at Cape St Clare Lake Clare beach, paddled up to the head of Deep Creek. Saw a Bald Eagle at the Cape St Clare marina. It landed on the docks, took a few steps, then flew off! The ospreys around were none to happy-chasing and dive bombing the Eagle.

Did 5 short races to windward mark and back. First 2 were really light wind built in the 3rd and 4th and 5th winds were solid and consistent. Sailed with Rhonda and Dana. We didn't do the best, but continued the learning process of getting the boat moving in really light air.

Splashed the Hobie in for the first time in 2024! Kayaked for about 45 minutes on the Little Magaothy. Stayed in the sheltered areas because of the 20+kt winds!
