Century Club: Sam McGuire
Original plan was to anchor out and scrub the bottom but the gusts over 25 and the white caps in the basin turned that plan into a short sail under the bridge and then a test fit in our new slip. Saw BR cooking down the river under headsail only.
Beautiful night on the water even if it was super light air. Finally got the new spin up during a race too!
Helped a few friends deliver their boat from Solomons to Woodbridge, VA over night. Stared with a spicy sail down the Bay, turned into the Potomac chop, and then a cold motor up the river, pulling into the slip around 8:00am. Covered around 100 miles (forgot to turn on the Garmin at the dock)
Anither great day on the water for Spring Invitational
Cold, windy, wet day on the water. Lots of spray from the rollers. Bay racing conditions for sure!
First beer can race of the season.
