The 20th Annual Steven Todd Dooley Search and Rescue (SAR) Forum (Feb 2026) in Hampton, VA, brought together over 175 first responders for intensive maritime, night, and technical rescue training. This premier Virginia-based event, hosted by the US Coast Guard and regional partners, focuses on improving interagency coordination and operational readiness. This year I was promoted to the position of Harbormaster. It was a very stressful but rewarding endeavor.
