#38 - Nice, Leisurely Sailing on the Pax River

#38 The forecast was for the wind to come up later in the afternoon, and it did. At Paula's encouraging, we headed to the boat. We made quick work of getting underway.  We popped the main and yankee and sailed into the SW corner of the Solomons Basin.  We tacked and sailed north, under the bridge and sailed straight ahead until the water started to get shallow. We tacked again, sailed back under the bridge, deep into the corner of the basin before tacking again and heading toward home.  We put Aloha Spirit in the slip and enjoyed dinner in the cockpit, before heading for ice cream at Brrrr, our new favorite spot in Solomons!  2 1/2 hours of really relaxing sailing!
