This was one of my best sailing days ever. I tried out the new staysail on the new roller furler. I just have to ask myself why we didn't do this sooner. I had all 3 sails flying on our Cape Dory 30, the Aloha Spirit The boat has never sailed better and the helm has never been better balanced. Andy Vavolotis (builder of Cape Dory boats), Carl Alberg (the designer of the Cape Dory 30) and Glenn R. Ohler (my father and the person who awakened the sailing DNA in me) were all smiling down on me today! I was smiling as well.
