Osprey sitting on top of the blind
Sunken sailboat, what's left of it.
Quite a warm day out finally, Alan went out in his sailboat and I in my kayak. Paddled to marker 6. The duck blind near it looks to be on its last legs, been abandoned for many years now. Looks like the osprey are building a nest on it, but not on their usual platform, but didnt want to bother them so didnt paddle very close to investigate. Then paddled to the other side of the creek to check out the sunken sailboat, not much of it can be seen now, probably sinking deeper into the mud. I think this is my day 25 on the water. 1/4 of the way there!
