Came down after an epic day of waves at Rever hoping to get a yellow Laser today, for the dockstaff to tell me not possible (algae) and they had no idea how I got a green the day before.
Hopped on a singlehanded Merc instead and quickly decided that I didn't want to hold three things in my hands, so I abandoned the rudder and had a great time rudderless sailing around! Nearly had a collision with an MIT sailor who was 1. on starboard, 2. pushing me into sailing by the lee WITH NO RUDDER, and 3. had the audacity to say "wow that was close" when he passed me without having headed down at ALL.
