These looked like hibiscus. But growing wild in Virginia?
Going out of town, and hurricane Erin kept me from the water for a while. But today was beautiful, mild winds. 80s, sunny occ clouds. Perfect day to go out in my kayak. Saw many birds, including a bald eagle which was too evasive for a pic. Lots of flowers on the banks of the marsh.
