The awesome thing about bashing your way out into the mini-chop in Sillery Bay, little wavelets breaking over the bow, is that you get to turn around and surf the tide back home.
Spotted several species of migratory ducks while paddling around and out of Grey's Creek, including a huge flock of small dark, maybe bufflehead (?) chilling in the middle of Sillery Bay. Our Creek is fairly devoid of human activity on a cold January day, but the wildlife were out and about!
