And there we are headed out to our favorite place to turn off the motor, just float and read.

I guess it wasn't as hot as last week, maybe high 80s today? Alan and I grabbed our ice teas and books and headed out to the Potomac to read and relax. I guess, not surprisingly, seeing as how today was the start of the July 4 long weekend, there were a number of boats out on the water, more than we usually see. But I don't think anyone had asked us for permission to be out on OUR waterway, the nerve. Yet, far far less boats than there probably is right now on say, Lake Anna, or Smith Mountain Lake. Those places are absolute zoos.
