Monday June 29 - Lankford Bay Marina to Worton Creek. Started with sails up, but had to drop them as we were heading around Eastern Neck. When we got up near Tolchester Marina, we put the sails back up and tacked back and forth finally sailing right into Worton Creek where we met up with Maverick.
Tuesday June 30 - Worton Creek to Still Pond. Put sails up right away and sailed up to Still Pond. There was live shooting over at Aberdeen, so we had to plan our tacks well going across the bay so we didn't go beyond the yellow markers. Had a fun 2 1/2 hour sail! Met up again with Maverick who came in after us (they were also sailing!)
Wednesday July 1 - Still Pond back to Lankford Bay Marina. Decided to go all the way back because of the extreme hot weather coming in. A long 6 1/2 hour motor sail back...but we beat the really bad heat!
Sunday, July 12 - Sailing out of Lankford Bay Marina, out Davis Creek, down Langford Creek and out into the Chester where we just sailed back and forth for a whleil. Since we had an ENE wind, we headed down towards Kent Island before turning around to come back.
Tuesday, July 14 - Sailing out of Lankford Bay Marina, out Davis Creek, down Langford Creek and out into the Chester where we just sailed back and forth from the entrance to Langford Creek over to Reed Creek, back to Grays Inn Creek over to the Cortana and back and forth. Other boats also out - but we were blowing by them in 10+ knot winds with 2 foot waves.
