Another day of tiller time in the laser. Bigger breeze means I finally got to really hike. Also maneuvers were high stakes - I ate it three times: twice gybing, and once while blasting upwind, almost fully hiked, straight into the wind shadow of a j33 warning up for Wednesday night. That one got my fast and utterly by surprise, I was already hovering a foot above the water when BAM I'm in the drink. Probably an experience most laser people get well before their beards turn gray, but I can confirm it's just as exhilarating for this old man!
