Chartered a Dufour 44 from Moorings in St. Martin with my sister. After picking up the boat in the late afternoon on Feb 1, we motored to Grand Case. The next day, we sailed for 5 hours to Ile Fourchue in 20 knot winds and 5 foot seas. The next day we sailed to Gustavia and finding no place to anchor, we went to Anse du Colombier and picked up a mooring ball. We then took the dinghy back to Gustavia to check in with customs and went back to our boat in lots of swells. We left the next morning for St. Kitts and sailed for 7.5 hours to Basseterre in 15-25 knot winds and 3 foot seas. We did a short sail the following day to White House Bay in 15-20 knot winds. The next day we sailed to Nevis in 15-25 knot winds and anchored in front of Pinney's Beach. We took the dinghy into Charlestown and then sailed to the northern tip of St. Kitts and anchored near where we could check out in the morning. The next day was my favorite sailing day upwind back to Anse du Colombier. Winds were blowing to 31 knots with 5-6 foot seas. The sail to Anguilla the next day was windy with 4-5 foot seas. The next day we sailed back to Grand Case and spent the night, before motoring back to the Moorings base the next morning.
