Day before my 76th birthday, we took Aspire out from a lunch sail. The wind died so we motored over to the fish haven and practiced anchoring. I rehearsed the signals I would give Sandy on the helm during the retrieval. Too any steps to the bow and I forgot them so had to come back and refresh my memory. Sigh, The anchor windlass I rebuilt a few months ago worked fine and we quickly pulled in the 60 feet of chain I had deployed. A great day - particularly in February.
