Thursday March 5 - Left Rock Sound Harbour and traveled to Cape Eleuthera Resort and Marina at the southern end of Eleuthera to get ready for a jump over to the Exumas
Friday March 6 - Cape Eleuthera Marina to Highbourne Cay - passing through Highbourne cut right at slack tide! Stayed here for 2 days!
March 8 - Highbourne Cay to Shroud Cay (south anchorage) in the Bahama Land and Sea Park.
March 9 - Took the dinghy through the river in Shroud Cay - which goes through the island and the mangroves. Absolutely stunning! Saw many sea turtles, lots of fish and even some sharks as we slowly drifted through. Did the lazy river where the river meets the Exuma Sound.
March 10 - Shroud Cay to Warderick Wells Mooring Ball #25. Stayed here for a couple of days enjoying the beach, snorkeling and going up to Boo Boo Hill!
March 13 - Warderick Wells to Black Point. This was day 30 since we checked into the Bahamas. Stayed here for 4 days. Got some fresh produce, ate at local places, watered up. Was going to stay for the Bahamaian Festival...but it was really swelly in the anchorage with a swell coming out of the west, bad weather forecasted with higher winds - so we left.
March 17 - Black Point to Big Farmers Cay. Rained most of the time, but had sails up!
Wednesday, March 18 - Big Farmers Cay to Stocking Island in Georgetown, Bahamas. Was raining when we pulled the anchor and rained off and on all day...including when we dropped the anchor in the new harbor!
