Left Monument Beach and sailed about 15 NM to Square Rock Cut in ENE winds of 15G20 kts.  Made 7.5 kts under full main and genoa.  Had to slow down to let a buddy boat catch up and lead us thru the cut.  Decent swell rolling in to the cut with the current thankfully!  Just as we were entering, a squall hit and jacked up our visibility.  One big swell tried to surf me into a broach but I managed to maintain course.  Anchored behind Boysie Cay with 3 friends in big surge that I thought would subside.  It didn’t and around 2 AM woke up to crap falling off of the table and counter tops as we rolled thru about 90 degrees!!  It really sucked and we chalked it up to a learning experience.  On the plus side, there was a big blow hole right on the beach in front of us. Pretty cool, especially since the noise was almost a whistle.
