Took Akimbo to Whitehall Bay with James, Ivan, and Anne. Anchored at the end of Mill Creek and had dinner at Cantler's. Really stupidly hot and hardly any wind. Took a quick dip as soon as we anchored and got some relief. Rigged 2 hammocks above deck for Ivan and I to start the night, but with an eye on the rain and potential thunderstorms, we packed it in when it started drizzling at 2. No real storm hit us though, just a bit of heavier rain close to 5am. Got going around 7:30 and felt optimistic with a very nice 10-12kts NE, and lots of clouds blocking the sun. By the time we went under the bridge the wind was already dying down and the clouds burned off, and we suffered the rest of the way home. We actually got our camping fans out to cool off in the cockpit eventually. Docked at 2ish just as thunder started at DSC and some light sprinkles. Skipped pump out and diesel top up today but will get it done tomorrow lunch time.
