Almost didn't go out tonight because of the weather, but triple checked the satellite and felt pretty comfortable that we had a few hours before anything major blew through, so went down to DSC around 4:30 and spent a couple hours doing quick stops. I really needed the SH practice, had basically ignored it since April. Wind was great, 7-12 or so, pretty bad oscillation between ENE and N, with a few reflected puffs from the WNW. But was able to get some good practice in anyway. Then James got a little tiller time (photographic evidence!) and we sailed out to UA and back, and I did a few more quick stops. I would have kept going, but the reefing line got horribly caught up in the block and I was afraid it would get worse and I wouldn't be able to ease the sheet. So we came in and docked. Lovely misty fog in the low 70s. About 3 hrs.
