Our Post-Covid Retirement shake down cruise!  It's been awhile since we've enjoyed several days with Bea on the bay as we just finished up a major refit.  We left the dock and enjoyed a few days at Waterhole Cove on Harris creek.  The anchorage was made better by a visit from some dear friends at our marina who joined us for a raft-up.  We departed for Annapolis Harbor under power as the winds were sparse and enjoyed life on a mooring ball.  Naptown is always a great visit with new discoveries!  Every evening ended with Colors and then a nice cold beverage.  On Wednesday we were treated to the race boats sailing through the mooring field!  We then left for Shaw Bay off of the Wye river with a great sail.  At anchorage we tested our new dinghy for the first time!  "Otis" is our Chesapeake Light Craft Easport Nesting Parm which I built in our townhome one winter.  Relieved that water didn't rush in through the epoxied ships lap we enjoyed an evening putt around the anchorage.  Bugs were ever present but that did not deter us. On Monday we decided to head back to the marina.  A great cruise to find what works, what doesn't and most importantly, did we forget how to sail!  :)
