Kayaking on Smith Lake at Quantico Marine Corps base
Day 40 on the water brought us to explore Smith Lake at Quantico Marine Corps base. This is very close to our home in Stafford. The lake is beautiful and we really enjoyed our paddle there. Saw a few turtles warming up on logs and a fawn on the Stafford shoreline. Most notably, we assessed this will be a great spot for leaf peeping in the fall.
